The 5'er 12/9/05

Okay, my sister Kathryn was complaining that I haven't posted anything much lately. I've been lazy, anti-social, whatever. I actually had answered this last Friday, but Robin wanted a picture and I kept meaning to get to it, but obviously I haven't. So....I'm posting it w/o the pic. Sorry Robin! But better nate than lever!

Hi guys!!!

It's Friday (ALMOST) and it is time for what I call "THE 5'er!"

If you want to play all you do is cut and paste these questions into your journal. When you have answered them come back and leave a link in my comment section. On the following Friday I will post your links and a new set ofquestions! Have fun!

Let's play!!!

Today, er...tonight's theme is Jingle jangle jingle...all things that jingle.

1. Did you ever wear jingle bells on your shoes when you were a kid? Yeah, I can think of wearing bells to school on the designated “bell” day. Also used to wear them as a grown up to go Christmas Shopping.

2. Thinking about tv commercials...do you have a favorite jingle? Something that when you see it sticks in your head all day? OMGosh…you are hurting my brain! I used to know a bunch (like “I’m a Pepper, You’re a Pepper” and “I’d Like to Buy the World a Coke”), but these days I hardly watch much TV except on Court TV, USA, Discovery, etc., and I don’t really pay that much attention to the commercials.

3. Gotta little change in your pocket going jingle, jingle, jing? Do you carry change in your pocket? Do you toss it in a can when you get home for a rainy day? Have you dropped any in the Salvation Army bucket yet this year? Only have change in my pocketbook for so long. Little Caleb Marc always needs a “quarter”. And if that doesn’t deplete me the throwing pennies in fountains does. And if that does work, then I empty into our “change bucket” for a rainy day. I’ve cashed in as much as $120 before. And no…I must not be feeling charitable this year cause I’ve yet to drop anything in the red bucket.

4. When you sing Jingle Bells do you sing the nice version or the one where Batman smells and Robin laid an egg? Hey...for the record I DO NOT Lay eggs. Oh…it just depends on how silly we are at the moment. Get the kids to join in and who knows what will happen!

5. Take a picture of something jingly...and old lady boobs don't count. Could be a bell...a wind chime...be creative. Post it when you are done. If you don't have the ability to take a pic, tell us about something jingly in your home. It's a wind chime from my step-daughter hanging on my desk (lot's of hot air there).

There you go...have fun and come back tomorrow for my super neato surprise entry! LOL

Give me a few minutes to post in the 5'er journal where I put the links to all those who played The 5'er last week!!
