The Interpreter
Hubby & I watched “The Interpreter” the other night. Don’t know if any of you have seen it yet, but it is worth watching. Keeps you guessing about some things, and other parts of the plot are kind of easy to figure out. I’m not a big fan of Sean Penn, but he does a pretty good job here. Nicole Kidman has never really impressed me all that much either, but again, a pretty good job. Movie is suspenseful and keeps you interested. Check it out at your local movie store…. for me and mine, it’s Blockbuster. ;)

Thanks for the review; I will have to check it out. I think the best thing Nicole Kidman did was to get rid of Tom Cruise. I kind of liked Sean Penn's acting in "I Am Sam". We rent from Hastings; not sure if that is a store you have down in Arizona; but we did have them also in New Mexico.

it seems that sean penn is getting better with age ... his portrayal in "i am sam" was amazing! of course, i think that the master at that type of character is definitely dustin hoffman ... now is that man versatile, er what?!
anyway, next time we rent a movie, i'll have hubs pick this one up and check it out ...
shpanks for the review!

hubs and i rented this, last night ... excellent movie/plot(s), great performances (altho, sean penn really struggles with the teary/mushy stuff, yet he is endearing) ... i did like how it tried to get mysterious all throughout the story ...
on the not so up-side: the movie was predictably obvious from start to finish ... at least from where hubs and i were sittin' ;) ...
thank you for the heads up on this one and maybe, when it comes to DVD/video, we'll purchase it ...
last night, we also watched "kingdom of heaven" ... excellent indeed!! a MUST watch!!
