Thoughts

Got canceled tonight...again.  Asked my company to try and reschedule me.  Nobody in the entire East Valley needed an ER nurse on a Friday night.  Now what are the odds of that?  In a city of over 3million+, with 30+ hospitals.  I had better not be blackballed because of the hospital I was working at.  That DNR better have been taken off my name and not be floating around the Valley.  I am so bummed, and hurt, and angry.

Frequently remind yourself that God is with you, that He will never fail you, that you can count upon him.  Say these words, "God is with me, helping me."

But...decided not to mope.  Took the kids to see The Fantastic Four (which btw is less than,  unless you are 5 that is).  But everyone had fun (except when I got claustrophobic in the elevator!), and that was the point.

Hope everyone else's Friday has been good.

Weird because most hospitals and cities are literally begging for nurses. I don't know why people treat others like the way you are being possibly treated. Thanks for the movie review; I'll wait til it comes out on video and save some money.

I don't like elevators either - I don't like closed in spaces.

I hope your Saturday goes much better :)

Not to mention she freaked out because there was construction and she couldn't find a close parking spot. I TRIED to tell her but no one listens to ME! And after the movie she proceeded to take us down this hallway across the parking lot. I said we'd have to go up the elevator to get out.... but of course don't listen to me I don't know anything
