This review is for Betty who warned me not to rent this movie. LOL, I had already seen it so here is my opinion.
When a traveling salesman, Danny Wright, accidentally meets up with Julian Noble, a hit man, at a Mexico City bar, their subsequent evening together intertwines their lives in an unexpected, but lasting bond.
| MPAA Rating: | R for strong sexual content and language. |
A Different Sort of Friendship by erarein (movies profile) Aug 21, 2006 Okay, Pierce Brosnon like you've never seen him. After being "Bond" it's hard to picture Brosnon as the bad guy, but this movie makes it hard not to like him. Okay, I know that he is a hitman and is the bad guy, but Brosnon is a likeable bad guy and you will find yourself rooting for him. And maybe feeling a little guilty for doing so. Kinda like watching the Sopranos...you can't help but being on his side. Caution...some sexually graphic scenes.

LOL, De. You know, the movie wasn't that bad and the plot wasn't that bad except for the sex scenes and those were a bit bit wild (especially if you have a 17 y/o kid watching the movie with you - talk about fast forwarding a lot). The movie would have been okay without them too.......KWIM?? I wish they would have developed the plot just a bit more with the couple and their loss of the son. The movie did have some good points to it, just not what my husband was expecting when he rented it, LOL

I know exactly what you mean! ;) D
