Monday - It Snowed in Phoenix

You are not going to believe this, but it snowed in Phoenix last night!  Seriously!  I was on my way to work and all of a sudden the rain turned into freezing rain and snow.  There were wrecks everywhere, but thank goodness my BMW X5 did just fine, thank you God!  Here are some pictures from some people here in Phoenix and submitted to a local TV news station.  I cannot take credit for a single one of these pictures as I did not have a camera with me.

This is what it looked like starting out.  Does it remind anyone of tornado season?

When it started snowing in Phoenix, this is what I saw in the . Reminded me of tornado season in Oklahoma.

Desert Snow with Sunset Thunder rumbled a wind gust startled us, and we saw two clouds collide creating mini snow balls for a short snow fall in Maricopa

Some beautiful snow covered scenery amongst the desert plants...

Snow coming down near Pinnacle Peak Half mile east of Dynamite and Pima

This is snow on the "Four Peaks" Mountain...

How awesome is God's handiwork?

Well, snuggle in tight and keep warm.  I've just finished a very busy shift and am headed off to bed.  Yawn!  :)

The pictures are so pretty but I can live without the snow.  Your lucky you don't have to deal it often.

I just read that you guys had snow out there in the desert!!  Do you have "winter" clothes in Pheonix??  It has been VERY icy here with lots of accidents!!  I'll keep you in mind while we sit in front of the fireplace...cause you don't have one right?!?!?!
