Tuesday Two - Episode 5

Go on over to Patrick's Place...   Picture from Hometown

Is it really November already?  How did that happen?  One minute we were turning the clocks backwards...the next minute we're one step closer to the end of the year!

Because of the Vivi Awards -- yes, I'm still counting -- I wasn't able to get a Tuesday Two out last week, so this week, it's the Tuesday Two X 2...two sets of questions.

Just as always, answer one question in each pair...not both!  There's a reason why I'm asking you to answer just one, and we'll get to that in a few more weeks.

First, congratulations to Betty, of "Of mini-paws and menopause," who was first to tackle last week's question about prejudice.

Now, onto this week's topics:

THIS WEEK'S TOPIC #1:    SONGS

QUESTION A:
Name a song that somehow connects you and another person:  a loved one, an ex, or a friend or family member...and describe how it became "your song."

It would have to be “Truly, Madly, Deeply” by Savage Garden.  It was the first song that was playing when David and I started dating, and it seemed every time we got into the car thereafter for a long while….”it was a sign”.  I still get a rush when I hear it.

I'll be your dream
I'll be your wish
I'll be your fantasy.
I'll be your hope
I'll be your love
Be everything that you need.
I love you more with every breath
Truly madly deeply do..
I will be strong I will be faithful
'Cos I'm counting on a new beginning.
A reason for living.
A deeper meaning.

I want to stand with you on a mountain.
I want to bathe with you in the sea.
I want to lay like this forever.
Until the sky falls down on me...

And when the stars are shining brightly
In the velvet sky,
I'll make a wish
Send it to heaven
Then make you want to cry..
The tears of joy
For all the pleasure and the certainty.
That we're surrounded
By the comfort and protection of..
The highest power.
In lonely hours.
The tears devour you..
I want to stand with you on a mountain,
I want to bathe with you in the sea.
I want to lay like this forever,
Until the sky falls down on me...
Bridge

Oh can't you see it baby?
You don't have to close your eyes
'Cos it's standing right before you.
All that you need will surely come...

I'll be your dream
I'll be your wish
I'll be your fantasy.
I'll be your hope
I'll be your love
Be everything that you need.
I'll love you more with every breath
Truly madly deeply do...

I want to stand with you on a mountain.
I want to bathe with you in the sea.
I want to lay like this forever.
Until the skyfalls down on me...

QUESTION B:

What was the last song you heard on the radio that really hit anerve with you?  What about it made you really feel like it was written about you?

THIS WEEK'S TOPIC #2:    YOUR WORST ENEMY

QUESTION A:

If you feel that you are your worst enemy, then think about the worst quality you have that makes you feel this way:  if you had the power to remove that quality from your personality with the snap of a finger, would you?  Why or why not?  Oh can’t we all be our own worst enemy.  Mine is worrying about everything, sometimes to obsession.  I don’t know that I would want to get rid of my worrying because I feel that it is a strong motivator for me to get things accomplished, but I do need the obsession part to lift a tad bit.

or

QUESTION B:

If your worst enemy is someone besides you, what would it take to resolve the situation...and what would it take for you to be the one to start that process?

I know that song you speak of (which is surprising, LOL)

I'm the say way - I'm my own worst enemy; I'm such a perfectionist.
